Beautiful Badass

In this world of cruelty it takes ZERO to be kind. That man walking down the street talking to you and you give him just a glare and say nothing back. What if that’s God? What if Jesus is one of these people trying to pick up cans because he’s had a hard life? Jesus was a friend of sinners so I do believe that he can come to us in this form. The random people that preach the word while walking on the street? What if that’s Gods reminder to you if you hadn’t heard it that day? What if God is that homeless person or that street walker that’s trying to make a way in all humanity ? I’m not saying you should trust all people. I am saying that God gives you discernment on when to and when to not pay attention to people. Met the kindest man this morning that just wanted to get cans so he could make some money and talk about how “The Good Lord says we are living our last days!” An apostolic man that even told me his church “doesn’t just preach the word they live the word.” I handed him a trash bag because all he had were Walmart bags. Offered him a cigarette and a light. This morning was such a nice reminder that although people might seem different than there is still God in EVERYONE and if it takes saving my cans in a bag and putting them at the road than that’s what I’ll do! I don’t ever want to be so far into my own problems that I forget about the less fortunate. I never want to be in a place so great that I forget we live in a hurting world. I never want to be so proud that I don’t hold a conversation with a person because they are seemingly different. Humility, kindness, and love thats what our world is missing. If you wanna see a change, you HAVE to BE the change! I believe God comes to us in all forms. He won’t just show up in robes of gold and an all mighty voice. He comes in peoples smiles, and others just wanting to get the word out! If a person walking the street looking for cans can be unashamed to tell everyone he meets about our Lord and the word why should we who live in homes, drive cars, and have good paying jobs be ashamed? Start back to God folks before it’s too late!
